I’ve been a professional software developer for about 10 years now, but that’s not what this portfolio is about. This portfolio is a collection of sites and blogs that I’ve put together and worked on in my spare time, or what little of that is left these days.
The Beginning
I remember programming with early graphical calculators back in the 8th grade, and have seem to always been working with computers and programming languages since then. It wasn’t until my last course at college back in early 2001, however, when I started to tinker with the web. Everything after that, as they say, is history.
Passions
Since these sites are of my own creation and not made for clients, they tend to revolve around my life’s passions – and rightfully so.
The list of passions is a short one, but still pretty diverse. In no particular order, they include photography, hockey, my family, the beautiful island of Maui, blogging, and other social media.
What’s Next?
My life motto really says it all:
Never stop learning.
Therefore, as the web changes, I do my best to follow along. What that happens to be for me at the moment is a variety of disciplines, including a few mobile websites, WordPress plug-ins, iPhone and Android apps, and maybe a few Facebook apps. There never really is a lack of interesting things to learn, just time to get to them all.
That’s It
That’s about it. If you’d like to learn more about me, you can certainly browse through some of the sites in my portfolio to get a better feel for who I am. Also, for contact info, check out the links on the left sidebar for Facebook or Twitter.
Thanks for stopping by.
